A no-call / no-show is one of the most serious operational failures in short-term rental cleaning.
If you fail to show up and fail to communicate:
• Guests may arrive to an unclean property
• Emergency cleaners must be dispatched
• Refunds may be issued
• Client trust is damaged
This is preventable.
WHAT QUALIFIES AS A NO-CALL / NO-SHOW
A no-call / no-show includes:
• Not arriving to a scheduled clean
• Not responding to messages
• Not notifying management in advance
• Ignoring same-day communication
If you are going to be late or cannot attend, communication must happen immediately.
CONSEQUENCES
A verified no-call / no-show may result in:
• Immediate schedule reduction
• Removal from high-priority properties
• Temporary suspension
• Permanent removal from the team
This policy protects the operation.
PROFESSIONAL STANDARD
If an emergency occurs:
• Call or message immediately
• Provide clear explanation
• Give as much notice as possible
Professional behavior is measured by communication.
